License

Aug 1st, 2007 by admin

The Voiceglue project distributes code that comes from three sources, with three different copyrights.

  • The OpenVXI code is copyright Vocalocity, and is released under the GPLv2 or later. Details on OpenVXI and it’s license are found here.
  • The Cam-Scom code is copyright Doug Campbell, and is released under the GPLv3 or later.
  • All other code is copyright Ampersand, Inc. and Doug Campbell, and is released under the GPLv3 or later.

The net result is that the entire disribution is released under GPLv3 or later. For the text of this license and additional information see the gnu.org license page.

The voiceglue project does not currently release any Asterisk code, nor does it link against any. However, if it should release Asterisk code or link against it in future, the overall licensing would remain unchanged as Asterisk is also released under the GPL.
