Transfers have to be to destinations supportable by Asterisk. Doug posted recently indicating that there were some issues with the tag implementation at present, but it is working for me - make sure you're transferring to the right protocol (SIP/IAX, etc...). e.g., method="refer" bridge="false" dest="sip:12345 at 127.0.0.1"> W3C describes the transfer tag in full. If you mean to originate a call, VXML doesn't support this - CCXML does, but is not part of the VoiceGlue project. Asterisk can originate calls very easily. Good luck! The .wav files are created and are in the directory. I have checked permissions and made sure that voiceglue and asterisk user names have full access to the directory. It is really strange because it works just fine at 0.5 and fails on 0.8. I even tried a fresh install of voiceglue on Fedora release 8 and asterisk 1.4.xxx (newer version of asterisk. I reinstalled this already so I don't have the full asterisk version number.) and had the same issue. The call connects fine but nothing plays back and I get the same errors in the log. On the Fedora release |8 Test::More| was not installed when following the installation instructions and I had to do| yum install perl-Test-HTTP-Server-Simple.noarch| for everything to install successfully. Welcome
Today, asterisk won't play the "Welcome.wav" file anymore, if I check /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/voiceglue/tts the file IS there (I even tried to remove it and it was recreated by voiceglue_tts_gen). I am calling Asterisk via sip, no asterisk configuration files have been changed. All the rest seems to work, it's just the playback that is missing. Voiceglue should handle this, and it apparently has a bug. The record status is coming back from Asterisk as a failure, and voiceglue needs to recognize that this is not a real recording failure, merely a hangup after a record. I've put it on the todo list for the next release, which should be coming soon. It's getting me crazy. It's almost certainly a file permission issue. If you do a long listing of the directories and files, you should be able to spot the problem. Voiceglue by default runs as user "voiceglue" and group "voiceglue", but the audio files created by it should be readable by the asterisk user. The TTS file naming anc caching is being re-designed for the next release of voiceglue. Perhaps if you remove the "." at the end of the TTS text, or perhaps there is some permission problem. If asterisk isn't looking in /var/lib/asterisk/sounds for audio files, where the heck is it looking??? The /var/lib/asterisk/sounds location is quite standard, and is always reported as such in the docs. I would be most interested if you could run an strace to see where asterisk is looking in the original failure case.
