Hello Doug,

Thanks for your reply. We are running Ubuntu 6.06, kernel version - 2.6.27-9-generic, with Asterisk 1.4.23.1.

Here are the errors around the time of the crash, we noticed also that phoneglue didn't crash so kept on logging, it was just voiceglue that seemed to stick and its logging stopped.

We will indeed try to use the strace if it happens again, but if you have any ideas of things to try before that it would be much appreciated.

I've never seen this before.
I'd love to hear details of the environment it's running in.
OS, Asterisk version, etc.

As the level of INFO indicates, this is not an actual error condition.
VXML interpreter threads routinely indicate their termination by simply disconnecting from the managing process.  The code of -3 simply indicates that the filehandle became non-selectable.

If there was no error logged, we do indeed have a mystery.
If it happens again, I'd love to see an strace of the process.
